i just put out a firmware update for the recurBOY digital video instrument. you can read the full release notes and download the image to try it out here

overview of the changes:
- renamed the existing screens and added new SETTINGS screen where you can:
- set cvbs / hdmi types
- enable some special new modes
- copy files from usb to the internal storage
- and more
- navigate content inside nested folders for easier organization
- enabled a text overlay mode where .txt files and live input from usb keyboard can be displayed over recurboy output
- allowing hot plugging between usb-drives, usb-keyboard, usb-midi controller and usb-capture cards while recurBOY is running
